TMCC HS taught me how to work independently to reach my own personal goals. I loved going to TMCC HS because my teachers trusted me and gave me the confidence to be an independent learner.
I run a small business and blog. Recently (thanks for my bachelors and AS), I started substitute teaching to earn a bit of extra money. I have a knack for connecting with people – I am very extroverted. Also, I can DIY and create just about anything!
I am passionate about horses and creativity. I write a blog and spend time with animals in my free time.
TMCC HS is an excellent alternative education option that will require lots of dedication, and is a great option for students who want to get ahead. If you work and study hard, you can advance up to two years – it is like getting a full ride scholarship at the age of 16!

At TMCC I learned to take charge of my education, while I had great guidance from the staff, I had the freedom to choose my classes and how I spent my time. I use that today to manage my work and career.
I’m a Financial Analyst at Amazon.com in the worldwide consumer retail financial planning and analysis team. I have knack for paying attention to details while keeping the big picture in mind. I have been a financial analyst for almost 3 years.
Given my profession I follow the tech industry closely, I’m a big techie and enjoy playing with gadgets. My personal hobbies include cycling, playing with my two dogs and exploring Seattle.
Take advantage of every opportunity to be outside of you comfort zone. Explore every option and keep an open mind. You never know where a networking event, a business club or volunteer opportunity can take you.
